Mukono Resort Hotel was officially incorporated in 2007 as a small, family-run establishment. At the time, it featured a simple and modest setup with a focus on providing basic accommodation and meals to travelers and locals. Though limited in resources, our commitment to good service laid a strong foundation for future growth. The place had an old-fashioned charm that reflected the hospitality traditions of the time.

By 2015, the hotel began to undergo visible transformation. Some structural renovations were introduced, including better room finishing and an improved restaurant area. We expanded to accommodate more guests and started hosting small events, meetings, and celebrations. Our client base started growing steadily, and so did our reputation as a reliable venue in Mukono town.

Despite global challenges, the year 2020 marked a renewed vision. We modernized several sections of the hotel and introduced services like sauna, steam, and massage. The hotel’s appeal evolved, blending comfort with visual aesthetics. We embraced branding, enhanced customer service, and created a more vibrant and welcoming environment for both leisure and business guests.

From 2024 to date, Mukono Resort Hotel has blossomed into a truly unique and visually appealing space. We’ve introduced themed spaces like the Pergola, revamped our gardens, added signature dishes like Lusaniya Thursdays, Beer Bucket Fridays, and Live Band Saturdays. Our social media presence has grown, and we now host regular events that attract a youthful and dynamic crowd. Today, Mukono Resort stands as a symbol of transformation, convenience, and community spirit — right in the heart of Mukono.
